I have recently been working on some children studies as well as some facial expressions. Here is some of my work.
I am considering a certain project that I will do next to keep challenging myself. I have a few interesting ideas so please come back to see my new projects.
I have been getting more confident with painting with water colors so I was ready to challenge myself and do more than just a study or cartoon. So I found a good photo with a variety of light and shadows and got to work. I used a palette of watercolors with a waterbrush.
There was a request for mural designs to be painted on some pillars in the Deep Ellum “Bark Park”. I submitted several designs and one of them was selected.
This is the first time I have ever painted a mural so it was an interesting challenge. That and the Texas 100 degree heat.

Some ink/watercolor experiments I did for a character I’m developing. I may need to do a few experiments on the eyes since they seem a little blank.
